The Faylond Dies are made of natural diamonds or synthetic diamonds, offering high performance in hardness and abrasion. These diamond dies are known for precision and quality through out the drawing world.

Faylond single crystal natural diamond dies have demonstrated excellent wire drawing performance. Our die quality selection procedure and particular laser manufacturing process ensures that only the highest quality natural diamonds are chosen to become an Faylond die. Each die is precisely oriented to ensure maximum wear resistance, precisely mounted and robotically profiled. Using our particular laser process, Faylond dies have an extremely accurate die profile, a highly polished finish and accurately sized. A combination that offers uniform wire reduction, minimum die pull and excellent wire surface quality.

POLYCRYSTALLINE DIAMOND (SYNTHETIC DIAMOND, SD)

Polycrystalline diamond dies offer significantly longer die life, excellent wire roundness and extremely predictable die wear. Faylond dies are manufactured to the highest quality, excellent ware, long life and good wire surface finish. Faylond offer two varieties of polycrystalline diamond dies. Compax and Faylong. Compax being a harder polycrystalline diamond is more suited to soft wires like copper and aluminum. Faylond is a softer polycrystalline diamond and is more suited to hard wire applications like steel and tungsten wire drawing.
